Companies have always been keen on their branding, as a result company logos play a vital role for being popular around the world. Branding has been the most important part of success. All world famous brands have changed over the times and maintained the success path for years and the names are being engraved in human minds. I tried showing some of the popular brands who have changed there identity over the years, still being very popular and renowned.

Autodesk has signed an agreement of acquiring Avid’s Softimage business unit. This is definitely a great leap forward for Digital Entertainment and Visual Communications for the entertainment industry.

Fourteen films have been submitted to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in hopes of securing one of the three nominations available in the best animated feature category.

The contenders are “Bolt,” “Delgo,” “Dragon Hunters,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” “Igor,” “Kung Fu Panda,” “Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa,” “$9.99,” “The Sky Crawlers,” “Sword of the Stranger,” “The Tale of Despereaux,” “Waltz With Bashir” “WALL-E” and “Dr Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!

Disney/Pixar’s “WALL-E” is widely considered the frontrunner to win the Oscar. Competition for the other two nominee slots will include such box office hits as Blue Sky Studio’s “Dr Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who!” and DreamWorks Animation’s “Kung Fu Panda” and “Madagascar” sequel, which is currently No. 1 at the North American box office.

The newly elected American president Barack Obama is inviting online applications from across the world to fill various positions in the new regime, reaffirming his tech-savvy nature.

Obama, along with his deputy Joe Biden, is looking for people for ‘non-career positions’ in the White House or any Federal body. Do you have it in you? Check out Change.gov for a great career which is unique in its nature on the whole.

The site specifies that there would not be any discrimination in the selection process. “The Obama government will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or any other basis of discrimination prohibited by law,” it points out.
